Metal Braces
Today’s metal braces are made from high grade stainless steel. They are smaller, more comfortable and used to treat many orthodontic problems.
Types of metal braces include:
- The micro mini braces - are one of the smallest most comfortable and least visible metal brace available.
- The self-ligating braces - utilizes a “sliding door” technology to attach the wires to the braces
- Damion braces - are a specific type of self-ligating brace
- Behind the teeth braces - no one will know you are wearing braces unless you tell them
- Gold braces - are stainless steel braces coated with gold
- Removable braces - including expanders and removable functional appliances which are used to augment treatment
Colors
Colors can be added to all of the above types of braces and changed at every visit to match school colors, holiday colors, sports teams, etc.
Clear Braces
Clear braces are made from a translucent (clear) ceramic material that blends in with the natural color of your own teeth. They are highly cosmetic braces and are popular with both adults and teens that may be sensitive about having their teeth straightened at any age. Clear braces work just like metal braces do.
Invisible Aligners
Invisible aligners consist of a series of custom made smooth, clear (virtually invisible) plastic tooth aligners, fabricated especially for you, that fit over your teeth. Every two weeks a new aligner is inserted to gently and gradually move your teeth into place.
